Meditations

I focus better at work and I'm less stressed out. My energy has improved. I'm better able to handle emotions. I'm more present in my day to day and I'm much less reactive with my wife.

Steph's voice is so soothing and safe. I haven't been able to meditate with anyone else.

I was super intimidated by meditation for the longest time, and I feel like Stephanie makes it doable. I suffer from anxiety, and since I started to meditate with her I feel a lot calmer and I don't experience panic attacks anymore. I highly recommend!!

Mindfulness Meditation
Practicing mindfulness means paying attention to our present moment experience with compassion, curiosity, acceptance and openness. It means intentionally being aware of our internal and external experience as it is, in every moment.
It can be challenging to be mindful because as humans, we are reactive, and most of the time, we react unconsciously and automatically. Through this meditation practice, we learn to reduce self-criticism and self-doubt, and increase self-compassion and patience.
As a result, our brain becomes less stressed, less anxious, less reactive, and becomes more resilient to challenges, and better equipped to regulate emotions more effectively.
Ultimately, the only moment that exists is the present moment, everything else just exists in our own mind.
My own Journey with Meditation
At the beginning of my spiritual journey, and for a few years, I was afraid of meditating.
The thought of closing my eyes and being with myself, completely terrified me.
I resisted doing it.
And, when I had to (during my first two yoga teacher trainings in Bali and in India), my whole being would rebel. It was so incredibly uncomfortable and frustrating for me to sit still, to close my eyes and to try to be present.
But, one thing I’ve learned about myself along the years is that whatever I am resisting, whatever I have an aversion to, is usually the thing I need the most in my life, and once I embrace it, once I surrender to it, it becomes a key component of my wellbeing.
So my loving invitation to you is to let yourself feel scared, uncomfortable, and resistant. And when you feel ready to try, even while those feelings are still there, you might be letting in the greatest gift you can give yourself.
The gift of presence.
